We have made revisions to this Privacy Policy, effective April 14, 2023, to reflect the new rules set forth by the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements. We’ve a) streamlined the process by which you can opt-out of our communications, b) organized our privacy terms so they’re easier to understand, c) described in detail how we use cookies and other tracking technologies, and d) clearly identified how we work with third-parties.

We take your privacy very seriously. With regard to personal information, we will never share any details that personally identify you, like your name, email address, or phone number, unless we are legally required to do so.

8.2 Deletion

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our Services.

If you require immediate deletion of your information, please contact Pathways to Parenthood using the contact form on the website and allow up to 3 business days for us to process your request. We will delete any/all content you’ve created within the scope of our services, including comments and questions posted on our blog. Once deleted, this information cannot be retrieved. We will also delete any personally identifiable information stored in any third-party applications we use.

8.3 Object, Restrict, or Withdraw Consent

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You may opt-out of marketing communications sent to you by opening any email we have sent you and clicking on the Unsubscribe link in the footer.

9. COPPA (CHILDREN ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.

We do not knowingly solicit data from or specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

10. FAIR INFORMATION PRACTICES

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe.
